Honda Accord: LoJack’s Most Stolen Car in 2012

The humble Honda Accord in all of its plain Jane wonderment was once again the most stolen vehicle of 2012, according to LoJack, the stolen car tracking company.

While, LoJack only tracks vehicles that have been equipped with its GPS device, it has enough clients that one can assume that its numbers are a pretty good reflection of overall auto theft numbers. Honda, presumably not satisfied with just first place, came in second as well with its Civic being the second most stolen vehicle in America in 2012.

The top ten most stolen vehicles in 2012 in order of stolen-likelihood are: Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Toyota Camry, Acura Integra, Toyota Corolla, Chevy Silverado, Cadillac Escalade, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Altima, and Chevy Tahoe.
